Does anyone know what has happened to the excellent Nightporter.co.uk site?
I checked today to check on something as I have resurrected my collecting of Japan vinyl (after a seriously long hiatus of 35 or so years) and it appears to be no longer running.
Any info on this at all?

I don't know. Paul Rymar, who ran that site, hasn't visited this forum since December 2020.

He does have another site: Nightporter On Patrol: https://nightporteronpatrol.home.blog/ but that one's not very up to date so it seems (last blog in 2021). There's a contact-page on that site, so you could try to reach out. Let us know what the result is.

I was just poking around some Japan/Sylvian stuff online and came aross Paul's Nightporter YouTube channel, of which he has been posting some great new (two or three weeks at time of posting) content on recently. He's trying to make something of it, so worth checking out.
