Does anyone know what Steve Nye has been up to these recent years?

There was a discussion some while back on the music producer / recording forum 'Gearslutz" (see link). Supposedly at that point Steve had moved to Indiana and was still working. I can't find anything that suggests he is still working under the name mentioned though (Steve Nye Engineering Services). Most recent production credits seem to relate to compilations of older material, so not sure sure that he is active anymore.

It'll be very interesting to see if Anthony Reynolds can track him down for his forthcoming book about Japan. He mentioned on his blog having a contact who knows Steve's cousin.

I saw him in December 2007 at London's Union Chapel, when I attended the last Penguin Cafe Orchestra shows in tribute to Simon Jeffes. he was the PCO's co-founder and member until the late '80s. on that occasion he made a cameo appearance for one of the pieces played.
