Loving it, glad someone decided to get the long hair. I have the long hair do myself, though it's a bit wrong now because the hairdresser messed it up last time, and now I look like Nick Rhodes.

And what's wrong with looking like Nick Rhodes?

lol, well I didn't ask for it, so that annoyed me. But eh, it's only Nick Rhodes in that it's nearly Sylvia hair, only not entirely.

The camera is poo therefore the peroxide blonde doesnt show properly, but in reality its as blonde as davids was.

One of my best friends have the Nick Rhodes look!!!!

I don't think my hair would like to be puffed up like the 'quiet life' do, and it's pretty curly anyway.

I was thinking of showing my love for all things new wave by getting a 'bird's nest' haircut, which was very popular in oz/nz around 1984, or so I'm told.

It's a mop of curls, often with highlights, that sits on the top of the head, usually with a forelock sitting on the face. The rest of the hair is cut very short.

It sounds weird but I can see it working-

I'm a bit timid about changing my hair though- I'm a girl and a hairstyle like that might prompt people to give me odd looks!

I have always had blond hair and for years I had a truly awful mushroom cut, but when I went into high school I started to part it on the side and it just naturally looked liked David Sylvian's hair, though at the time I didn't know about him. Now I'm dying the top of my hair an even lighter blond, but at least now I'm purposely trying to look like David Sylvian

I would (and have been highly tempted in the past) get the same haircut, but for many reasons haven't done so. First off, I would feel like I was stealing somebody else's idea, and I feel I should really come up with something of my own. Secondly, at the moment I don't have the nerve to do anything particularly interesting with my hair as I'd have to back the image up with a personality - which is something I lack completely.
But in my own little way I am inspired by it. I have short hair, a similar length to the style he had, and it goes somewhat into that shape, it just doesn't look very good.
Then again, maybe one day if I ever manage to get out of my current mindset - I always said I'd get my hair like Bowie's when he was Ziggy.

It seems to me you´´re very confused in which hairstyle you want to do my friend! xD

Anyway, this hair do I did months ago, my hair is not like that anymore...

Maybe I should change my avatar, then? I´ll do it when I get a new pic of myself! ^_^y
