Anything is better than my flat, dull, thin hair I have now! It's long, but it drapes down flat on my head! Uggh! I want a NEW WAVE haircut too! :-D

Wow, that a nice thing to see...I feel proud for David that people were ready to sacrifice their hair just to look like him.

This is funny, and brings back a funny memory. I never even considered going the route of Japan fashion, I was a California hippy kid back when I got into Japan and Sylvian, and not interested in changing that.
That was in 83-84, when I was about 16. I did successfully turn a friend on to the band, a blond surfer, lent him my copy of Quiet Life, and he very soon was sporting many different variations on Sylvian's look. And it kind of worked!

Oh, I like it! And as for marrying the love of your life... fab!

Y'know I always, always, ALWAYS wanted one. But my upbringing was very much... you're not doing that, you're not doing that, and you're not doing that other thing either. But in retrospect how good a Sylvian hairdo would have looked on little old mixed-race me is another matter!

Working on it....once the back gets long, I'm cutting the sides a little short, kind of emulating the adolescent sex era Dave....I want my hair to be a blend of David's and Michael Monroe's...mmm soon!

What the H*LL is old Michael wearing in that last picture? Not tights? YUK! Now, the make up and the long hair = GREAT! Looks good on both DS + Mike, but lacey tights? No, No, NO! That's just a step too far my friend! BTW: Sylvians Beard - keep going with growing your hair - it'll be worth it in the end.

Perhaps it's stretchy pants with feather-like print? :D
