Because I havent voted yet! Foregone conclusion with me - you all know who my favourite is.

Mel, I'm kind of surprised you would start a poll like this! I'd have thought the results would be obvious. David will win by a country mile!

For being innovative and the best of a generation (sweeping statement - but I don't care) Mick. In terms of being a 'born natural musician' it has to be Steve Jansen. Unbelieveably talented man. For inspiring a host of lookalikes and being a great vocalist - David (no one like him and never will be) and for being the heart of a Prophet V - RB!!!! Got to love him ...

I actually wasn't sure and, in any case, I was far more interested in why people chose their favourite than in whom they chose - a chance for people to sing the praises of all the band.

If Rob is in the vote maybe Masami should have been in there too...
well, he wouldn't have got my vote anyway.
Or Steve Nye... yeah, maybe I would have given my vote to Steve Nye.

... I chose David ... and errrrm do I really have to explain why :-) ?

He has the most wonderfully angelic voice in the universe and writes the most amazing lyrics and poetry.

Lots of energy and sparkling starlight,

Whilst they are all exceptionally talented I (of course) have gone for Steve...

I listen to quite a varied range of music from across the decades and the complexities of Steve's rhythms not only enthrall me but put others in the shade - particularly when he has always made it look so easy!!!!

Cello and Flute (I was no Theo) lessons at school taught me that being muscial doesn't mean you can play anything (although the boys would have you think otherwise...) For me, using 2 hands was quite difficilt enough, so using all 4 limbs- how on earth.... !!!

Steve's transition from self taught percussion to the level of composition we are hearing from SIQ, Slope etc leaves me in awe (just listen to AS then Slope straight after).

I suppose, as with any living, if you are exposed to greater a skill level at work you do develop over time, but from banging tom toms to the depth of his output now - so maybe in 30 years I won't just be another faceless pleb at Canon!!!

Oh - and to bring it down to my usual level - he stilll the hottest thing ever..woof!

David, of course, but Mick's pretty close to the first place. I do love all of them... but David will always be my favorite, he is the poet, the singer, the soul and voice of the band. Can't deny that :)

I voted for David... I just can't help it! He's got the most beautiful voice I've ever heard... the voice that got me in the heart! And on stage he's a hot hottie... he's too white and too gold that I can't keep my eyes off him... :x :x :x

Anyway Steve would be my second most favourite...
I am new here :"> And I can't speak English very well.
