GTP for me, definitely. I cannot express into words how I felt the first time I heard that album. Amazing. Though QL is wonderful, too. Who am I kidding, they're all great.

All these years later it's still Tin Drum for me, that album was light years ahead of it's time and to me is still very contemporary.

It was up between OoC and Tin Drum... TD wins for sucking me in in the first place. Great stuff still to this day! I agree with MoodyB (my other Tampa co-hort), it's timeless.

I hate all these 'Favourite this or that" things

It's a tough one, because (like most of you) I like them all, but for different reasons. It was nearly Polaroids, but I think Quiet Life clinches it for me.

Gentlemen Take Polaroids was the first song that ever got me into Japan, and David Sylvian, and it remains one of my top favorites still!

i chose `oil on canvas`.

mainly for the intro to `methods of dance` and the ad libs david give`s to the songs through out the album.

Very hard choice this as they're all great...It's definitely between Tin Drum and GTP, but in the final analysis it would have to be GTP for 'Aint that Peculiar' and 'My New Career'...two of my favourite songs...

Although I have to say the genius of Tin Drum makes it a very close second....

...God, I just love them all...!! :D
