n00b question time, concerning reissues...

OK, quick question for y'all. Thanks to Silver Moon I have officially fallen in love with David's music. Now comes the fun part, going through the back catalogue and purchasing all of the albums.

Here's the question: in 2003 Virgin reissed David's catalogue, and I assume Caroline handled the US reissues? The BIG question, the 2003 Virgin reissues were housed in digipacks, are the Caroline reissues also in digipacks?

It's just that I really prefer the digipack, and my local shop can easily get all of the 2003 Caroline reissues for me, but I'm not sure if they're digipack or not. It would be a lot easier than hunting down the Virgin copies on ebay or having to import them.

Thanks to all those who respond!

I believe the Caroline reissues all come in a standard jewel case.

I've got to ask, what is the difference between a standard jewel case and a digipack?

A digipak has no plastic casing. In the case of David's albums, the reissued Virgin designs had foldouts - like a flattened paper box which can be opened resembling a book - it mimics the old lp gatefold sleeves. Jewel cases simply have a paper insert that slips into the left side of the open case.
