About studio time: the sessions for Manafon were recorded between 2004 and 2007. And the album released in 2009.

Well, he's already put the season's greetings on his site! :smt114

That is not really much of a gift, maybe he dislikes us all !

Anybody know if last year's Skogen sessions were recorded at Air Studios?

Just noticed that on Ruperts site there now is no mention of the album in the recent projects.

Another project on hold ?

Any more news on this. I'd like to hear something new, and different. I must admit that am not a fan of Manafon. I didn't know about Playing the Schoolhouse, but given the description I'm a bit worried as to what I might think of it.

I thought that DS released a more mainstream track online a couple of years ago, but I can't remember what it is called.

EDIT: I played 'Playing the Schoolhouse' from youtube. Not really my thing. I played 'Playground Martyrs' immediately afterwards - now that's more what I appreciated.

Thanks. Nice song, particularly the wordless vocal bit. I'd really like to hear the finished version. However, I'd prefer to hear a whole album of simple vocal/acoustic guitar songs to ... some other things.
