Very nice.
Just curious about the 7.5 bathrooms... :smt017 "Hey honey, I'll pop into our half bathroom and just wash my right hand."

A sink, toilet, and tub with a shower constitutes a full-bath. Either a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower stall or a sink, toilet and tub is considered a 3/4-bath. The makeup of a half-bath is a sink and toilet in the room.

Must admit that I find it a little sad to see that studio dust-sheeted and empty like that. It's a great space.

The apparent winding down of Sahmedisound and the appearence on the market of David's home and workspace are indeed potentially troubling. Here's hoping he just fancies a change of scene - it must be a huge place to live in alone.

I think DS has left that place some time ago and given it over to Amma (this would explain that big M.A. CENTER thing and the DEVI HALL signboard stuck up on the barn - devi means goddess in sanskrit).

Samadhisound is not winding down - it's just changing it's business model and will now only release works by Sylvian.

Those signs you see for the Devi Hall are from when it was originally an ashram owned by Amma's charity which is how they came to live in it in the first place.

Thank you for that update Simon. Ultimately the details of David's personal life are none of our business, but his work means an awful lot to people and I'm sure we all just want to know that he's healthy and happy.

Yes - thanks for that, Simon. Reassuring.

I must admit I was a bit troubled by it too initially. Especially in conjunction with everything that's happened: David's health, the tour, questions about Samadhisound. Watching David at work in the studio in the Amplified Gesture DVD reinforced my sense of how helpful having that space has been to his ability to produce the amazing work he's achieved in recent years. So to see it emptied quite upset me. Odd, I know.

I dabble myself in music and have a (mini) studio. I know how good it is when it's there and waiting and how frustrating it is when there are impediments to being able to simply play (and record). I hope David has been able to replicate a similar setup wherever he is now.

Then came the announcement about Italy and work with Fennesz and Mathieu, which cheered me no end. Especially as Milan is very accessible from London! :D

Has anyone got a link to a clip of 'a man of no significance'?

And hey, Maybe he's moving in with Joan...
