Bang/Honore provided wonderful atmospherics which at times remind me strangely of Brilliant Trees. Lovely release...but something a bit more rhythmic next time David?

Great stuff :D - love the samples, can't wait to hear the full versions... anyway, glad you pleased with what you hear, and hope your LE arrives soon.

Had the very beautiful deluxe version waiting for me at home today...it even survived the postman leaving it outside all day! Well worth the wait. Samadhi's design and packaging is really quite special.

Not managed to listen fully to it yet but agree with Simon's comment about the similarity to Brilliant Trees in atmosphere. Probably down to Henriksen's trumpet playing.

My deluxe copy arrived this morning... its a very nice package, with the impeccable standards of art direction we are used to from SS [I do wish they would use thinner paper however, it feels too stiff and hard]

I'm listening to the CD for a second time as I type. The music is very beautiful, with a stunning vocal delivery from Endressen, creating a rather unsettling, but quite unique atmosphere... Arve Henriksen contributions are as sublime as ever, and the ensemble as a whole deliver an interesting, immaculately detailed sonic canvas.

Sylvian's delivery is cool and precise; in fact the whole tone is icy; there is no warmth here for me, which even Manafon managed at times.

I'm pleased to own this, and it was worth the wait... But, I'm not sure how often this will be played; certainly not as much as Manafon, Died In The Wool or Blemished.... I think it needs grey skies and cold, with a mood of melancholy, not sun and warmth.

And Samadhi... better communication next time please

I've come to the conclusion this is a quite lovely release. I was bit worried that Sylvian's reading of poems over music would be too much to stomach but no it's a really beautiful album from Bang/Honore. I can certainly see myself listen to this often as the music is very intricate and there's lots to take in from it. Sidsel Edresson is a revelation if you ask me. What a singer. I adore her voice. A resounding 8/10

How annoying it must be for people like David Sylvian to release some in a limited run only to see it crop up on Ebay at some exorbitant price. I love Ebay but I think it's kind of killed the pleasure out of collecting rare and limited things.

My favourite track at the moment is 'The God of Smaller Gods'.

I love the instrumentation.

The packaging is wonderful too. Keep up these wonderful releases please David.

No copies seen in Italy. But a flock of strange birds has been spotted flying over western Africa. Maybe it's them...

Arrived today. Lovely. The design of the booklet reminds me of the Dead Bees On A Cake CD/Everything And Nothing Tour Book.
