I wonder if he'll be attempting Manafon / DITW tracks, maybe playing with some of the improv guys?

That said, the image on the tour page is another Kristamas Klousch image as used on the Sleepwalkers album, which might suggest that the compilation might be the centre point.

This is mere supposition on my part ... since we've already been made aware that the next major project for Sylvian is expected to be the expansive collaboration with Dai Fujikura, then it may seem somewhat reasonable to assume that this Implausible Beauty tour is now being coordinated to promote such a project. Fujikura had previously confirmed that he hoped to coerce Sylvian to perform their joint material in concert, so perhaps he has been successful in this endeavor?
In regards to the instrumentation, Fujikura could either utilize members of the International Contemporary Ensemble or the quartet consisting of Zilliakus, Persson, Raitinen and Dornbusch. In addition to the material the two composers have already released together and the material they plan on releasing next year, I happen to believe that there are numerous compositions throughout Sylvian's career that would be well served within a program formatted for a chamber ensemble.

Was thinking pretty much the same thing Baht...Sylvian and Fujikura seem to have forged quite a close working relationship and I think there is much to come from the pairing. Wonder if Honore and Bang would be involved given Sylvian's recent contribution to the Punkt Festival and their obvious admiration for Sylvian? It's interesting that he said that to take Manafon on the road then sponsorship would be absolutely necessary which prompts me to think that it is potentially a bigger production in terms of musicians/visuals than what he has previously taken on the road. PLEASE though no orchestral reworkings of SOTB !!!! It would be far too obvious...

Maybe we all have to get together and make another book like 80 days.
I guess we will cover each one of these shows, we will take photos, before during and after the concerts.
And we all should write about what we experienced.
I could put it all together (I used to be an art director assistant at i-D magazine etc)
and my dad can print the book in his printing office.
Are you with me?

"Implausible beauty"... And what if it's just a lecture on how to make calendars?
