From Brilliant Trees through Died In The Wool...

I dont think there is anything wrong with discussing something like Sylvian's divorce. Its only human nature to be curious about someone we admire/love. At the end of the day only the people who are close to Sylvian/Chavez will really know why they seperated. As for the rest of us, we can only read into the lyrics on Blemish and SBS and speculate what went wrong.

My guess would be no.

The poems posted on Ingrid's new site leave me with the opposite impression:

perhaps in the end it was a mutual thing.... we all know it takes two people to have a relationship and they aren't easy to keep together under the best of circumstances.

It is always sad though to see people still so obviously in love see that love change and know they can't do a thing about it... as well as knowing it won't work any longer as a unit.

Her poetry is a bit crap to be honest. I thought there was more to her work than this stuff!
