Well I've ordered one...I really enjoy David's photos and the quality of the prints in the 'World is Everything' tour book was superb. Some nice images.

I have to confess to a WTF moment...DS releasing a calendar...er...

But given that many people remark on how they enjoy his photos it seems like a fun way of him getting some benefit from that.

Very interested to hear what people think.

Well, I ordered one as soon as I received the e-mailed announcement. It appears to be created with Sylvian's usual high-mindedness and good sense of taste. I am usually quite cynical when musical artists offer things like calendars, mugs, t-shirts, etc. (all normally created with their inflated egos out on full display for all to witness), but Sylvian is an entirely different sort of creature, isn't he?
Plus I know that any purchase I make from Samadhisound will assist in some way towards Sylvian's future musical progress - an officially commercial product such as a calendar can possibly help him maintain a healthy distance from overly commercial musical projects...so in my opinion, the purchase is a worthwhile one just for that aspect alone.

Looks like another beautiful release if you ask me. AND before those doubters complain that a calendar is not a nice product, look at the beautiful limited V23 calendars that were released a few years back and have now become collectors items. Pretty good price too
