Any tours?

Postby Dual on Wed Feb 16, 2011 3:11 pm

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has any idea when David will be next touring? I would like to go and see him live, but he doesn't seem to have done anything in a while as far as I'm aware.

What do you guys think?

As talented and good-looking as DS is, he really isn't keen to show himself publicly, he hasn't played live in 4 years now and I don't remember reading anything in the last year about him wanting to tour or even gig around the UK/US anytime soon - DS cares about his fans, he has a wide and old following but I often wonder how long can he expect to sustain this living in what seems to be complete isolation...I am also aware that DS waited twelve years before releasing Dead Bees however.

Every year I keep my fingers crossed when I'm reading the Punktfestival program, hoping that Sylvian will appear
on a stage with Bang/ Honore. Although I don't know how realistic that is.
Anyway, the next festival is 1.-3. sept.- 11. ( No artists announced yet...)

David has hinted at touring Manafon but it seems the costs involved in taking it on the road are not inconsiderable and that he would have to seek sponsorship to support any live dates. Put it this way, he's not ruled it out yet
