Manafon is SOTB for the 21st century

From Brilliant Trees through Died In The Wool...

Manafon is SOTB for the 21st century

I just finished listening to Manafon on headphones and I have to agree with other posters on the forum that this is the ultimate way to experience Manafon.

The details, the subtleties, the delicacy... also, I disagree that there is no melody here - it's all over the place!

My feeling is that Manafon is way beyond Blemish, and while listening I had this little voice in my head that kept telling me this is Secrects of the Beehive for the 21st century.

I must agree with you in the sense that after listening to Manafon i am inspired to listen to "secrets", i think you could
draw comparisons between the two works in some sort of way.Tracks like ,The Devils Own, Maria and When the poets for instance seem to spring to mind. The overall feeling when listening to either of these albums is similar but its hard to define ,i got this feeling from first hearing Manafon.
