To Untitled & Mr Fletchertronics -

Did you get hit with a Customs charge? Still waiting patiently for mint to materialise.

Sonic, delighted to say there were no Customs charges. The package was marked as a book worth $20 - so I guess it glided under Custom's radar.

Sorry, you're still waiting. The DVD audio options are worth the wait though......if that's any consolation at all!
I found the way, by the sound of your voice.

Yep, I can back this up... As I mentioned on another thread, Samadhi had the good grace to 'bend the truth' on the customs form, thus avoiding further charges at our end.

Hope yours arrives soon. I think the major issue in the UK has been postal strikes causing backlogs which according to yesterday's news could take a very long time to clear :-(

what should i do ?

What? The image isn't correct or do you mean it's just blurred at the edges? Is it supposed to be blurred? Can't tell from the images on site ... If you think it's wrong/damaged then I would be inclined to send it back.

HMV did not get stock in today as expected. They have no new likely arrival date, with the 12th of Never still a possibility.

From others comments on here, it looks like Samadhi numbered the orders as they came in. I haven't seen anything numbered over 700 as yet, so still a chance that maybe half (or more) of the print run were earmarked for general sale, with the stock still in transit somewhere. We'll have to wait and see.

ohhh, that's exactly not, what we wanted to hear to start this week. the hmv site says the same.
what do you mean with "the 12 th of Never"?

yes, that seems logical.
again, hope is the father of the thought.

envisioning this, it's pretty much unlikely, that there are more than 2,000.... hm.

It's just a common expression, a date for something that will never happen.

Ouch... that's a larger order number than I hoped to see (for purely selfish reasons right now - well done to Big Dave for shifting so many of them I suppose). When did you order? Fairly close to release date? Fingers crossed you get it soon.

no I left it till the end of august as at first I wasn't going to bother, but then realised I would kick myself if I didn't, but that means that between 30th aug and 12 sept there were 800 odd still going.....

And my heart sings of many things

hmv announced a new releasedate. they changed the 12th of never to the 5th of october. so there is a glimmer of hope.
regarding how "fast" samadhi sends all the preorders, it could happen (at least i hope so).

It hasn't been received once more at HMV who were listing today as the new expected arrival date.

I've also seen the first copy on Ebay (opened, apparently just to make sure everything was there?!?) which has reached £65 + postage with still more than a week to go. You would all be better waiting on the new copies to turn up, I reckon.

It's a screw up at Samadhi Sound, one way or another. All of these retailers wouldn't be listing the item if they hadn't been offered / promised stock.
