Not that it's really my business, but then you did post on a public forum... why on earth would you knowingly purchase music that you (a) don't like, and (b) have no intention of playing? Sure, I know some people like to collect stuff, but that just seems daft to me.

If you don't like Sylvian's musical direction (I do btw) then save your money and listen to the old albums ;-)

Stoobie, I must commend you for your continuing support of Sylvian's work...that you do not actually listen to the product is irrelevant. Your monetary support - as is all of our monetary support - is necessary to Sylvian's growth as an independent artist. Due to such enthusiastic support, he will no doubt be encouraged to experiment further with his craft and continue to break boundaries and restrictions which were put upon him while signed to a major label.
Besides, having the item in your possession may come in handy for the moment you decide that you actually may choose to listen to something which challenges as well as entertains. Manafon will be there in your collection - beckoning...
By the way, and you probably already know this and only did so for our benefit so that we were fully aware of your particular mindset, but addressing Sylvian personally on any discussion forum is fruitless and doing so here on this forum is completely unneccessary.

I did like Modesto's "Immerse Your Heart" even though it was more like his own song w/David Sylvian's vocals.

I haven't listened to his remix of 'Small Metal Gods' because I don't want to hear anything until I have the album.
