i know its frustrating Tinpot...are you in the UK? a friend of mine who works for royal mail says there is a backlog of hundreds of thousands of items waiting to be delivered but delayed because of the strikes. Email Samadhisound and copy opium arts into the email. Ask them to try and track the parcel...

Samadhisound didn't have tracking on mine (not sure if it was an option or not) but they were very helpful

I managed to get a copy through Play.com for 70GBP which arrived on Saturday [a one an only copy it seemed]- I was originally stupid enough to stump-up 140 notes to buy a copy through one of Play's 'Playtraders' under the name of 'Funnyman1'... and here is a warning ... Immediately after purchase they listed my item as dispatched, which removed my ability to cancel the order - a few days later I received an email stating that they were awaiting stock and there had been a delay. to quote [sic].

"Hi, Due to a delay at EMI in Germany this set is now due for release on
Monday 19th October,I'll send A.S.A.P after that. Sorry for any
inconvience."

I knew then this was BS and called Play who dealt with the matter - But I see this person is still listing the item, and no doubt playing the same trick...so beware! I think they are working under the assumption there is to be further copies released and stringing people along.

Anyway, despite all that, I am delighted with my copy and its contents...and though expensive, do not think it represents bad value for money.

Nothing in today's post :( . I live in the south east and a friend of mine ( he lives in London) had his despatched 2 days after mine and it arrived weeks ago.

There is no way of tracking the parcel as there were no tracking numbers.

My local postman said that he would not send anything in the post at the mo.

Will speak with SamadhiSound to try and resolve this.

Mmm - when is a limited edition not a limited edition :?:

Oh-well....good for those who didn't manage to get a copy, and also helps to devalue those copies people bought just to profit from...I've seen some crazy prices being asked, so that will no doubt upset them.

Play.com have one [or more] of the original pressings inc. the signed print for £70 if anyone is interested http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/1160964 ... oduct.html

EDIT: Above now gone.
