I would have to go along with the few that have described the boxed edition as underwhelming. It was a lot smaller than I expected (I thought it would be two The World Is Everything sized books), and the content was mininal to say the least. It's in 2 hardback volumes after all, with content that could easily have fit into one CD jewel case inlay. Other than to get at the discs, I can't imagine many would ever dip back into the volumes, compared to The World Is Everything brochure (similarly sparse, but more interesting photographic content) or the likes of Ember Glance.

I think the deluxe edition is too expensive based on the fact that I would probably look the books over only once, immediately rip the CD to iTunes, and probably never even view the DVD. Anyway, I'll eventually get around to buying just the CD because I do like to own a physical copy.

However, I would definitely buy a vinyl edition, if one were ever to be released.
