Oh. My. God. This. Is. Possibly. Some. Of. The. Most. Beautiful. Music. I. Have. Ever. Heard.

Im just listening to it all for the first time ever. The man is a master of ambient. Even my goosebumps have goosebumps.

Well I ended up listening to it again - and it WAS better the second time, you're right. So utterly relaxing and almost meditational (oops...disappearing up my own butt again!)

when you're lucky enough to come across/find/be blessed with music as rich as this, there will always be a place for it.
After this weekend when I buy my new 'Interview' clothes, next week I can buy my next David album. *happy days*

well...I beleive...that will be 'Secrets'
I've been buying David's albums in order.

Another David whos' almost as well known (Bowie) I've been buying his albums backwards but not in order.

Low
heroes
Station to Station
Young Americans (yuck!)
Lodger
Diamond Dogs.

(dont know what relevance this has?)

So I'm excited about hearing another Sylvian Album now!

Bap, When you say you are buying Bowie's albums backwards are you saying you're totally unfamiliar with his work?

It's great isnt it - discovering new music?!! 'Secrets' is the next album after 'Gone to Earth' I've listened to - I loved it, absolutely loved it. If pushed I slightly prefer 'GTE' because I adore instrumental music over songs with lyrics, if you will, but it's a very close call and my goosebumps were out in force again... :D

Oooh Kinki- Do you have "Alchemy: An Index of Possibilites?" If not- You should get it because it is all instrumental and it's awesome.
