Davids worst songs

I just never liked:
Pulling Punches - always found it annoying, and I adore all the other BT songs.
Taking the Veil was never a favourite either. the same with
I Surrender and
Godman. There's also a couple of songs on the
Sylvian/Fripp record that I just don't stand, I can't remember the titles.

Looks like there is a pattern there. They are all commercially released singles.

and first singles from albums aswell.
but Let The Happiness In was, and still is, a masterpiece.
Pop Song is a tricky one that I can't hear very often, but sometimes, depending on my mood, it fits.

I know it's one of everyones favorite, but I really don't like the song:
'The Boy With The Gun'
Also I don't like 'Fire in the Forest' and 'Sugar Fuel'.

Have to say i dont like the "Sleepwalkers track from the WIE cd Tour book. I dont think foul language is suited to our Hero actually ! Leave it to the Sex Pistols.

also not keen on some of Blemish, dont listen to it much.

Have to disagree with you wholeheartedly about Blemish Stoobie! But I agree with Gods: I really do not like Pop Song and skip over it each time that track comes around - it irritates me that much! I also don't like Pulling Punches but only because it now sounds so thoroughly dated compared to the rest of BT.

Ha Ha! Yes at least 4 too many by my reckoning. I really do not like Thalheim, Cafe Europa, Alphabet Angel and I can't remember the title of the other track, All My Mothers .... or something? Nope. Not for me. Take those away from the album and edit Praise and it would be devastatingly brilliant. But that's just my opinion so don't shoot me! And I know there's at least one other person on this forum who would agree with 3 of those choices - you know who you are!

Now do you mean me, Astronaut, or someone else...?

I definitely think DBOAC could do with some scissors - by that I mean in the 'old' sense of editing tape - but it's more a certain, ahem, guest vocalist whose contributions I would edit... that's it, I'm off, byeeeeeeeeeee! *Runs very fast!*

Man you chose one of my favourite of his cds... I love Thalheim... it is the most meaningful of songs to me... and i do like cafe europa as well. Alphabet angel doesn't do anything to me.... i wouldn't mind it being cut.. I love Praise too... Personally I think this is his most spiritually motivated work.

P.S. .... ha ha ha ha ... I'm not shooting you
