I have spent quite a lot of time recently listening to the band 'Starsailor' , they hail from Lancashire England and are fronted by the talented James Walsh. Between 2001 and 2009 they released four excellent Albums but are currently on a heitus.
I think their music will have some appeal to users ...

I was that enchanted by Quiet Life that 3 days later i went and brought GTP, it cost £5.30 ,(1983) i remember because that was the remainder of the birthday money i had recieved ,with which i was supposed to buy a coat. I had just those two albums for aroung 6 months and a tape copy of oil on canvas ...

I personally love the new Bowie album it is powerfull and subtle , the lyrics typically observant and incisive , hooks a plenty , prevocative melodies and his voice is sounding very good indeed. Love , Bowie's new album to be fair and to be honest i must concur with the line of thought as to why Mr Sylvian can not 'Roll back the years' in a similar fashion . I was lamenting this the other day after giving The Next Day a couple of airings,before i read this thread.

I have been listening to the first 4 albums of Echo and the Bunnymen alot recently, i think around that era (80-8 ) there was not anybody around better than these guys, ok maybe just one .

This is guy is just the worst, it's a blatant copy of some of David's work/ideas .The voice the soundscapes are all far to familiar. Listen up Do something ORIGINAL
